Fifteen fire instructors from the ACME fire department in central Texas will create
an e-class using current design principles and the Adobe Captivate® authoring
software.Specifically, the desired exit behavior is to demonstrate an understanding of adult
learning theories, e-learning design principles, copyright laws as they pertain to the
Internet, and Adobe Captivate® by scoring 75% or better on an assessment.

Additionally, each learner will create an e-class scoring 80% or better according to
a provided rubric.
The material will be learned through web-based instruction via a curriculum web in
approximately 60 minutes.
